Modus Accountants is a Chartered Accountancy Firm based at Frilford Heath Golf Club in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. Founded by entrepreneur, business mentor and coach Mark Spolander, the firm has gone from strength-to-strength, consistently growing their customer base and impressive reputation over the past three years.

Speaking about the acquisition Mark said:

Kavanaghs Accountants has enjoyed supporting businesses in Witney and across Oxfordshire for the last twenty years. However, with founders Jan and Kevin Kavanagh looking to retire, selling the business was a logical step to give them the extra freedom they are looking for.

When asked why they chose to sell their business to Modus Accountants Jan and Kevin said;

“Once we decided to transfer our practice we had interviews with several suitable firms in the local area. It was clear that Modus was best suited: their size, systems, and most importantly their enthusiasm fitted well with our own work ethic. We have been closely involved with Modus since the changeover and have been very happy with the progress made to date.”

The acquisition of Kavanaghs Accountants fits into Modus Accountants long term mission to transform the uninspiring and unresponsive reputation of accountants. Mark said;

With just over 150 local businesses moving over to Modus Accountants the team has had a busy couple of months bringing them onboard. With one-to-one meetings, and a drinks and canapes reception held at Frilford Heath Golf Club in September, Modus are doing all they can to make their new clients feel welcome and introducing them to their network.
