We are thrilled to announce the first ever Modus Charity Golf Day, taking place on Friday 5th June 2026 at the stunning Frilford Heath Golf Club in Oxfordshire.

We are raising money for Be Free Young Carers, Oxfordshire’s only independent charity supporting young carers aged 8 to 17. There are an estimated 12,000 young carers in the county, at least two in every classroom. These are children and teenagers caring for a loved one every day, often at the expense of their own childhood. Be Free Young Carers provides them with emotional support, respite activities, and the chance to just be kids again.

There is something for everyone!

For golfers (from 12:00): Coffee and bacon rolls on arrival, followed by 18 holes of championship golf on one of Frilford Heath’s stunning courses. Teams of four, Texas Scramble format, with prizes for the winning team, longest drive, nearest the pin, and more, followed by a summer BBQ.

For non golfers (from 15:00): Frilford Heath will be hosting a “Get Into Golf” experience with their coaching team. No equipment or experience needed, just a willingness to give it a go.

For everyone (from 18:00): Join us at the clubhouse for a summer BBQ featuring grilled meats, salads, and desserts, followed by a raffle, auction, and prize giving. Golfers, non golfers, partners, and guests are all welcome.

How to enter

Tickets are £160 per person or £600 per team of four (including VAT) for either the golf day or the Get Into Golf experience, with the bacon roll on arrival and evening BBQ included. A round of golf at Frilford Heath alone is usually £140 in summer, so you are getting great value while supporting an incredible cause.

If you would like to join us for the evening only, BBQ tickets are £30 per person.

Modus Charity Pledge

For every team that enters, Modus will donate £100 to Be Free Young Carers. Our goal is to have a minimum of 20 teams, raising at least £2,000 for the charity. Help us make it happen.
