The UK government recently announced the launch of The Kickstart Scheme an new job support programme, designed to give businesses the option to provide a 6-month government funded placement, for people who are; aged between 16-24, claiming Universal Credit or at risk of long-term unemployment.
To help navigate your way through this new initiative we have teamed up with Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership, and have agreed to take part in a free support session on the 19th November.
This session will tell you all about the Kickstart process, including the support that’s available to businesses through Kickstart gateway organisations, and Oxfordshire Skills for Business. You will hear from employers who are currently undertaking the process and what they’ve learned and have the opportunity to ask questions.
