How it works
- Make the introduction. Email us at hello@modus-accountants.co.uk, ask your contact to mention your name, or complete the short form below.
- We take the time to understand them. We have an initial conversation, get to know their business, and send across a personalised quote.
- You get rewarded. Once they sign up and settle their first invoice, we send your gift voucher within 30 days.
Referral scheme terms and conditions
These terms apply to the Modus Accountants referral reward scheme.
Scheme start date. This scheme applies to referrals made on or after 17 June 2026. Introductions or referrals made before this date are not eligible for a reward.
Eligibility. Anyone may refer a business or individual, whether or not they are a Modus client. The person being referred must be new to Modus and not a current client, a former client within the last 12 months, or someone already in discussion with us about our services.
How rewards are earned. A reward is earned once the referred client signs an engagement letter with Modus Accountants Limited and settles their first invoice for completed work. This confirms the relationship is genuine before a voucher is issued.
Reward value. The reward tier is based on the referred client's agreed annual fees, as shown in the table above. Where fees fall between tiers, the lower tier applies.
Timing. Vouchers are issued within 30 days of the referred client settling their first invoice.
If an engagement ends early. If the referred client cancels or does not settle their first invoice, no reward is due. Where a reward has already been issued and the engagement ends before that first invoice is paid, Modus reserves the right to reclaim the voucher value.
One reward per client. Each referred client qualifies for one reward only. If more than one person refers the same client, the reward goes to the first referral we receive.
Self-referrals. You cannot refer yourself or your own business.
Vouchers. Rewards are issued as an Amazon or John Lewis gift voucher of the referrer's choice, sent to the referrer's email address on record. There is no cash alternative, and any tax arising on a reward is the recipient's responsibility.
General. Modus Accountants reserves the right to decline any referral and to amend or withdraw this scheme at any time. These terms sit alongside our full terms and conditions and do not form part of any engagement for accountancy services.

Great team of people to deal with. Brooke and Samantha look after our end of year accounts and are very supportive when we contact them for advice.
