Director & Founder
After founding Modus Accountants in 2018, my position is to lead, manage and motivate the team. Over the last 16+ years, I have gained extensive experience setting up and operating several successful businesses.
With a background in business coaching, I am passionate about helping other entrepreneurs and love working with our clients to achieve their business and personal goals.
In my spare time, I enjoy relaxing with my wife, two sons and daughter. I also enjoy most sports and can often be found on the Frilford Heath golf course, with clients, on sunny afternoons.
A Certified Chartered Accountant, ACCA accredited since 2017, I joined Modus in February 2020 from a background in Finance Management within industry.
As a Director of Modus Accountants, I am part of the Modus leadership team and focused on growing the accountancy practice, leading on outsourcing, overseeing client onboarding, and managing the Modus Group accounts.
In my spare time, I am a fair-weather West Ham fan and at weekends enjoy watching and playing football as well as going on muddy dog walks with my little boy Eddie.
Fully AAT and CIMA qualified, I have over 15 years of experience working in finance and accountancy services. Having worked as a commercial accountant until early 2018, I then moved to help set-up Modus Accountants.
Having seen Modus grow from a fledgeling business, it’s refreshing to be able to work with other early-stage and SME business owners, supporting them from the beginning of their journey, and watching as they evolve and grow.
When I’m not working, I love to spend my spare time on family holidays and bike rides, enjoying the odd ice cream, and glass of prosecco.
I have been working in accountancy practices for over 15 years and joined Modus back in 2019.
After taking a few years out to have a family, I successfully completed my ACCA Qualification in early 2022, and a can now be officially recognised as a Chartered Accountant.
Outside of the office, I enjoy going to the theatre and have a real love of Shakespeare – in a former life I even pursued this as a profession, going to drama school and even touring with Take That!
After completing my A-levels, I started at university in 2021. However, after a couple of months I promptly decided, in January 2022, that this wasn’t the path for me. This led me to look for other ways to pursue a career in accountancy.
Wanting to gain a more hands-on experience, I found Modus; who were actively looking for an Accounts Assistant. After an initial interview, and meeting the team, I was offered the position, and haven’t looked back since.
Modus have welcomed me whole-heartedly into the team, and I’m looking forward to starting my ACCA qualification, and taking the steps to become a Chartered Accountant.
Having grown up in Oxfordshire, I returned in 2021 after a few years in Portsmouth, where I completed my degree in Mathematics.
Having started at Modus in a part-time role, I am now a full-time member of the team, and focussed on helping set-up and on-board our new clients, as well as handling most of the administrative duties that come with working with an accounting firm.
In addition to this I am also studying to become a qualified accountant and have successfully passed the initial stages of my course.
Having completed my A-Levels in 2021 studying Business, Economics, and Geography, I am currently the youngest member of the Modus team. I am extremely driven and see my role as an Accounts Assistant as the first step in my career as I continue to work towards my AAT qualification.
Outside of the office I love to keep myself busy, and enjoy going to the gym, walks with my dogs, and spending time with my family and friends.
I am also keen to see more of the world and hope to be able to travel more in the future.
